Single-Cycle Waveform Library - Category Guide
==============================================

A brief guide to the waveform categories in this directory:

- smooth: Soft, sine-based tones with gentle harmonics.

- bright: Additive synthesis with a large number of prominent upper harmonics.

- harsh: Aggressive and complex tones generated with FM synthesis, often with additional waveshaping effects.

- bell: Inharmonic, metallic, or bell-like tones created with non-integer harmonics.

- rhythmic: Rhythmic, step-sequenced patterns with varying amplitudes.

- rhythmic-pitch: 16-step sequences quantized to 12 discrete pitch levels, useful for melodic modulation.

- rhythmic-slope: Rhythmic patterns where some steps have smooth linear ramps (glides) to the next step.
